Guests: Jennifer Fischer, Manager; Marissa Baruck, Lead Information & Assistance Specialist — Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dane County
Just opened late last year, the Aging and Disability Resource Center is a one-stop shop for all Dane Country residents, regardless of income or assets, to receive accurate, unbiased information relating to aging or living with a disability.
On this program, Jennifer Fisher and Marissa Baruck describe how the agency helps seniors, people with disabilities and their families navigate through the social services system, a task that can be especially daunting in times of stress or crisis. The ADRC helps people in areas including public benefits, housing, in-home services, financial assistance, mental health services and legal services and more.
The ADRC is located on the bus line at 2865 North Sherman Avenue in Madison. Office hours are 7:45-4:30 p.m. Phone: 608-240-7400 or toll free, 1-855-417-6892. Email: [email protected], and website: www.daneadrc.org.
