Guests: Meghan Kelly and Sydney Chason, Co-Chairs, Humorology’s Philanthropy and Sponsorship; Sharyl Kato, Founder and Executive Director, The Rainbow Project
Each April at UW-Madison, an enthusiastic group of UW students presents their annual musical/variety show called Humorology. A tradition since 1948, over 600 students engage throughout the year in creating original mini-musical comedies. This year 10 casts competed for seven spots in the final show. The casts also competed against one another to raise money for their chosen philanthropic project which this year was The Rainbow Project, which received a $180,000 donation from Humorology.
The Rainbow Project provides restorative healing and hope for young children and their families who have experienced trauma, helping them build and master life-sustaining skills.
On this program, Meghan Kelly, Sydney Chason and Sharyl Kato share their separate stories and how they came together to benefit children and families.
